A White Christmas

What dreams are made of.

My all-time favorite singer since my earliest childhood and one of my favorite songs. Of course, I was a child, but the world seemed so pure to me, and life was so wonderful. I look back with nostalgia and wonder what happened to change it all.

I grew up in a Bronx neighborhood filled with Irish, Catholic, Italian, and Jewish families, and there was no tension. No one seemed to notice or care.

Those days were great.
