We just lost our rescue doggie “Buddy” to cancer and it hurts deeply. To speak to the poem here, we knew when we adopted him it would be a lot to care for him. Given the condition he was in, he had an eye condition that is common in puppy mill shih tsu’s - we took him in knowing the heartache and expense we were in for.
Buddy crossed the rainbow bridge a week ago today 🌈💙.
That also applies to cats for me, too. I've had a cat in my life for probably 60 years. Today two rescue cats, Bailey and Bella, keep me company and watch out for me.

I then adopted a special needs little senior, Star, in June and she crossed the Rainbow Bridge two weeks ago.
