Angry is never a good state of mind. I suffer from situational depression. I think that is the case with many people these days.

Yes and someone else mentioned in the context of anger. I think we are living in angry nation and I may write about that. I'm also considering a memoir of my life as a therapist

I saw that comment Allan. We are living in angry times, yes we are. But, the Pollyanna in me see that there is also great love all around us too. We see what we choose to see. I choose to see the love and so I see less anger, because I don’t give it much space. It’s painful to give it space.

Frustration And Anger is linked to my Depression, its a "Catch 22" situation . My physical health issues which cause a lot of physical and mental pain, gets me Frustrated because it's not in my control, that causes anger which in turn causes more frustration then its a never ending circle! When it actually hits you that You are helpless it causes Depression! I know Dr's who will say Depression has nothing to do with physical pain, yet my own Dr has agreed with me that physical pain can feel worse when you are feeling down/ depressed/ out of sorts,So many names so many different opinions from Dr's,Consultants and Patients! I am truly of the belief that if medical professionals listened properly to their patients rather than ( what a minority of Dr's do) talk over their patients or deliberately confuse them by using technical medical terminology, and instead speak in plain layman's language then a lot of the Frustration and anger wouldn't be an issue any longer and that would cut down on patients becoming depressed or even in extreme cases suicidal.

Communication with Allan is an eye opener as he is a Dr who listens a Dr with Compassion and Empathy with his Patients from what I can see. If GP's ,Consultants and Surgeons had the same manner then I believe that some patients wouldn't need half the medications/ treatments they take.

Please Correct me if I'm wrong Doc and yes I believe if you were to write a book it would more than likely be a best seller. In your writings it's plain to see you "Care" about What You do and how you do it! I am interested in the human mind and how different people cope with the same problems but in different ways. I cope with my physical health issues in a manner that perhaps I shouldn't? I use inanimate objects like pillows or cushions and vent my anger on them and that thankfully keeps depression away most of the time ( I think? Or perhaps I'm lying to myself, I don't think I am but its possible I suppose?)
