The song brought me to gentle tears. Some for times past, when I was younger and knew the song. How amazing to hear it again now, with my current consciousness.

My Grandfather " Thomas Cowan Whyte" used to say about people " No one is perfect, we were made imperfect, everyone has a 'Crack on their A*se'"

I enjoyed reading your lovely piece and learning a new favorite Leonard Cohen poem/song. I have many cracks and like to think the cracks are where the light comes in.
