Yes, Trump demonstrates all the signs of a malignant narcissist. However, there is more. His cognitive decline is evident to medical professionals and others. Even his vocabulary is regressing. He is trouble for America and the World with a capital “T”.
I agree with all of you. I don't see how someone can be so cruel, heartless and not want anything good for people who deserve so much more. It makes me feel so disgusted that someone can treat Americans so wrong.
Patty, I know exactly what you mean and I also cannot understand, heartlessness and cruelty, and yet we see that happening in America, which I never thought would happen
Thank you Allan: It is a deeply troubling that we have a person with this condition in power and enabled by others with a less than compassionate agenda. He is certainly not the only leader with this condition historically, but it is shocking to see it in real time. My hope and prayer is that the better angels of America will find their way through this.
Beautifully written. thank you for reminding us about the importance of compassion and self-compassion in our lives. I understand well why NPD and ASPD people have an extremely hard time feeling compassion, if they can at all. I have BPD. What do you think about BPD people? Personally I feel I'm capable of compassion, not so capable of self-compassion. I can come across as someone who lacks compassion and that is because I'm a lot in my head trying to resolve personal issues due to significant self-sabotaging patterns. I'd like to hear your thoughts on this. Thank you very much.
Yes, I agree with your summation, plus a few other things are wrong with that guy.
USA, Canada and all democratic countries are going to pay a big price for putting this monster in charge. Send in the white coats and haul him out of there.

There is no question that you are correct.

A good friend of mine, a clinical psychologist, states bluntly and angrily that Trump is just plain out of his mind. There is no way I can disagree.
