Ian thank you so much. Ordering technology is very strange. I meet people and I find that I like some of them very much. You are one of them. Yet youโre so far in terms of geography. With technology, we gain certain things. We get to verbally interact with people but from a very great distance. What we miss out on is what is most important about relationships. These relationships while important are not face-to-face. We miss out on tones of voice and nonverbal communication of all types. Ian, I value your friendship, a great deal and yet we have never met. My instincts tell me that we would make great friends. Ian, letโs keep in touch and letโs be as much as possible good friends to each other.
Allan, your poetry is so heartfelt and the music you chose so soothing and beautiful. Getting old is hard. Sometimes it seems that the only places I go are to doctor appointments or to the grocery store. Nature is my saving grace along with walking with my neighbor and her dog almost every evening. May you find peace and many smiles to share.
I relate to your comment very deeply. I also experience being old as a very difficult. I have my aches and pains, and I have problems with my balance when Iโm standing for Walking. This is not easy and yet itโs important that we keep on and that we donโt give up the struggle.
Allan I am so moved by your poems. You are a poet, with such expressive feeling. I try to write verse/poetry, mostly narrative which gives me pleasure and frustration. Sometimes it is in rhyming couplets, 'Oh not another rhyming poem mum!' My brain enjoys the challenge, Doubtless they will all be gratefully thrown away when I am gone! By which time hopefully my aches and pains will all have gone too! Cherry's friend Marjorie. How is Cherry, is she to in Independent living? I have not had any emails from her in a long time.
No she is in skilled care memory unit. Its very sad. Marjorie I did not know we have this personal connection. Please let's stay in touch. My email is. dransphd@gmail.com and my iPhone is 720-470-2028
Hi Marjorie, I'm afraid that Cherry is in very bad condition. She is deep into dementia and does not respond. She is in the memory care unit of an assisted living facility. Life can be so cruel. I do not worry about or care about whether what I write goes into the trash and is forgotten. When you and I are gone it will make no difference to us. Marjorie, just enjoy writing, that is all that matters.
Your words were always impactful! These are just beautiful!๐
OMG, Debbie, thank you and I love you.

Ahhhh Allan. Thank you. Your poetry is beautiful...a tender wander in the hallways of aging with such honest eyes. Thank you mate.
