City and industrial society has always been hard on families.

Yet 125 years ago my grandfather was born on a family farm as were millions.

Not so today.

The speed of progress has outpaced the speed of adaptability.

Malcolm, I totally agree. You have hit the mail and it’s proverbial head. Looking back I just can’t believe how much life has changed. I am 81 years old and the nation I grew up in is just radically different and I really I don’t think I know it was better then. And I know that people live on farms. It’s the urbanization of America and all of this mobility that has made things and worse. So you and Derek he calls himself. The Dboy have very comments. He gets me upset because I have a grandchild and I have grand and nephews who are well let me put it this way. I’m worried about the futures.

I totally agree. I see it myself. Marriage has become something people just throw away and regardless of the children. Is it any wonder why democratic nations like ours are in trouble?
