You were so blessed to be exposed to such great music. The Ella Fitzgerald concert sounds other worldly! Get yourself an Alexa, and you can start asking Alexa to play you the songs that you remember so fondly. It’s so easy to listen to music that way.

Melinda, that’s a great idea and I don’t know why I didn’t think of it and I am going to do just that. Thank you so much. Yes Ella Fitzgerald and the others of her era are unequal in the animals of popular music and particularly of jazz.

Music is the shock absorbers in your car, the sweet in your tea, and the rhythm in your veins. You can listen and dance lying down.

The memories age, but the colors are still fresh.

The first concert I attended was Ella Fitzgerald. It was the late 1950’s at Wolf Trap. I really didn’t appreciate her. In fact, during the concert I listened to the Patterson-Johanssen fight on my transistor radio.

It just goes to prove that we all have different tastes. The post that you wrote I really should say the article that you wrote about that piece of crap. Trump was excellent and I wish you could send it into the New York Times or I don’t I don’t know where you would send it, but all I know is my thought was this needs more exposure more people need to see this in any case great and I can forgive you for not liking Ella and I say that
